Bio:

Veronica Goodchild, Ph.D., is Professor Emerita at Pacifica Graduate Institute where she was a Core Faculty member for over 15 years.  She taught courses on Jungian and Imaginal Psychology and Psychotherapy, Dreamwork, Alchemy, The Grail Myth, Depth Psychology and Quantum Physics, Depth Psychology and the Sacred, Clinical Case Colloquia, and ‘Alchemical’ Research that includes unconscious processes, active imagination, and dreams.

She is an elected Affiliate Member of the Inter-Regional Society of Jungian Analysts, and has been a practicing Jungian psychotherapist for over 35 years.  Veronica has trained at the Jung Institute in Los Angeles as well as the Research and Training Center for Depth Psychology according to C. G. Jung and Marie-Louise von Franz in Switzerland.

She is the author of two books: Eros and Chaos: The Sacred Mysteries and Dark Shadows of Love (2001, 2008), and Songlines of the Soul: Pathways to a New Vision for a New Century (2012), Foreword by Thomas Moore.  Songlines is about the emergence of the subtle imaginal world from individual experiences of synchronicity to collective expressions of synchronicity in UFO experiences, Crop Circles, NDEs, and the Mystical Cities of the Soul. These ‘signatures’ (as she calls them) of the intersection of psyche and matter, point to the evolution of consciousness and matter to a higher state as we are called to co-create a new reality in the 21st century – one based in the heart rather than in the mind. She also wrote the introduction to an edited volume on the Gnostic Mary Magdalene for a book titled Mary of Magdala, as well as other book chapters and articles.

Veronica studied at London University, and received her B.S. and M.S.W degrees from Columbia University in NYC, where she was also invited to Phi Beta Kappa membership.  She received her PhD in Clinical Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute.  She collaborated with the late Dr. John Mack of Harvard for several years on the complexity and multi-dimensional depths of the UFO/ET experience and the move to a fifth dimensional reality based on living our truth in relation to self, care of others, care for the planet, and in ethical awareness of how what we do on Earth effects civilizations beyond our own home.

In her travels, Veronica goes to places that appear first in her dream life, including the Pyramids and Sacred Temple precincts of Egypt, Black Madonna and Mary Magdalene sites in France, Shamanic cave art in the Dordogne, the Sacred Landscape and Crop Circles of Great Britain (her native land), some of the Healing Temple Sanctuaries in Greece, mineral water thermal spas in Italy and France, and, with Q’ero shamans, the Temples of the Sacred Valley around Cuzco in Peru.

Veronica has undertaken solo pilgrimage walks on the Camino de Santiago, “Path of Stars,” the ‘Le Puy’ route, in SW France in 2013 and 2015.  She is also an apprentice in two shamanic traditions. The Path of Pollen/Way of the Melissae in the UK, and the Andean mystical path/Path of the Universal Shaman in the U.S.

In the summer of 2016, a dream led Veronica to revisit the Mary Magdalene traditions, the Grail legends, and the Cathars and Troubadours of the Languedoc region in SW France.

Veronica is currently writing up some of her pilgrimage walking experiences.  She is also recording her dream and shamanic journeying with the Mary Magdalene Mysteries and what Mary Magdalene instructed her to do, which is to follow her Path of the Blue Rose whose teachings come from Venus and the Pleiades.

She is also planning ‘Alchemical Travel,’ Inner Journeys in the Outer World, to sacred sites for small groups.  The first one is planned for autumn 2017 and will be a meditative journey to Mystical Points on the Magdalene Path of the Blue Rose where the veils are thin to contact your higher wisdom and personal vision for the new Earth.
